Left or Right?
  • coyoteFLYcoyoteFLY July 2010
    Hey,

I have played floorball now for a while about one month and i decided i need to buy my own stick but i have a problem, I don't know which side should my blade be? Its comfortable with both sides but if i hold my Right arm lower then i have a really stronger shot but if the left is lower i have a better handling and feel. So which side? Left or right? Power or Handling?

Please reply as soon as possible,
    thank you!

I would choose handling over power, becouse in a game you pass more and you can deke the goalie.

    Best regards, X-blade.

Yeah i got a another question,

Will this blade -> Unihoc evo3 hook will fit for this stick -> Zone 369 Race?
  • X-bladeX-blade July 2010
I'm not sure. If the blade is big enough, then put some hot glue and screw the screws in (you have to make new holes but the screws will go in without making them).

    Hope this helped you.

    Use hot water.
  • You're not allowed to mix different blades and sticks from different manufacturers, it's illegal
  • X-bladeX-blade July 2010
I'ts not illegal :D But you can play with "mix-sticks" becouse I don't think he's playing in a hard core team after one month of playing.

It's illegal in Floorball, not like a criminal offence!

Playing with a blade from the wrong manufacturer is a match penalty.

It's against the rules in a national league, becouse if a mixed stick breaks and injures someone, it is players resbonsibility to pay for the hospital bills. (Not in here Finland, couse minors have free health care :D) But in small league games you won't get a penalty!

if a stick is one brand and if the blade is a another brand, the stick will be illegal. its like breaking the rule, having curve that had exceeded 30mm. these are illegal in Official Games like SSL, national championships, and world championships.
